A Brother's Sacrifice: chapter 5

Mikey and Donnie ran to the base of the volcano. Donnie finally came to his senses and grabbed Mikey's shell. "Wait. It could be dangerous, even if it is hibernating." He said as he started to climb up it. Leo joined them in their climbing, and the 3 of them concentrated on nothing else. "Wheres Raph and Master Splinter?" Mikey asked as they reached an entrance cliff. "Master Splinter fell... Raph was helping him" Leo explained. "Oh no...." Donnie began. "What??" Leo looked around. "WE gotta save Master Splinter!" Donnie and Mikey burst out laughing. Leo gave a slight smile of amusement, and looked down at his feet. "LETS GO INSIDE!!!" Mikey screamed loudly. "OKay..." Donnie and Leo hesitated a while, but followed the bubbly teenager. They emerged inside the hot, humid inside of the volcano. "This is too hot......" Mikey complained about the swelldering heat. Then it happened. A rock gave way, and Mikey dropped through the once solid ground he was on. "MIKEY!" Leo and Donnie exclaimed. Mikey had caught himself on the edge of the floor though. "Woah..... bros, its sooooo cool down here...." Mikey seemed distracted from the fact he almost dropped into a molted lava stream in a 100 ft. drop. Mikey saw a ledge and jumped for it. He landed safetly inside the volcano. Leo and Donnie about had a heart attack. "Mikey! Get up HERE!" Donnie scolded.
